Typo3 proposes advanced functions of users' management both in front office and back office.
First of all a little bit of terminology, traditionally in Web applications we generally distinguish :
The front office, is the public part in proper French. In Typo3 universe - and in documents stemming (issus) from the community - this part is named the "frontend".
The back office, literally "defer shop", is the part reserved for the administrators or the site “contributor ". In the Typo3 documentation you will generally read "backend".
Typo3 proposes in its management of Front Office rights all the mechanisms allowing the implementation of a privative space.
Typo arborescence pages possess indeed the ability to be shown exclusively to a certain group of users.
We can easily imagine from then on creating a privative space and\or an extranet reserved for a certain group of Front Office users.

In a more precise way we can control the posting rights of a content element and personalize the posting within the page.
