- A clear back office
The back office of SPIP has a clear graphic charter with a well conceived ergonomics that makes its use easy and pleasant.
Search engine
SPIP has normally a search engine in complete text (in opposition to research in SQL mode).
The contents indexation is done in real time for each visited page. The pages of results are customizable thanks to the integrated engine of "templates" (the templates are named skeletons in SPIP terminology).
Circuit of validation or Workflow
SPIP proposes circuits of validation according to the profile of the user connected to the back office: a writer will be able for example to propose articles which will be published only when they obtain the agreement of the person in charge for the heading/column.
Management of forum, petition, and users reaction
SPIP includes various modules of the forum type in order to animate a community site or an Intranet. These modules can be of course parameterized by page and be subjected to a circuit of validation (or workflow) before the setting on line.
